I wondered if I should bother the prime minister, maybe they
wouldn't even remember me. Well, Communism not only made
me defiant with regard to my national feelings, but also made
me insecure about its world in terms of human relations. Many
years later, hundreds of thousands of people demonstrated on
Heroes Square against the plan to destroy the villages in
Transylvania. I also took part in it, and we all went to the
Romanian embassy. It was a beautiful and hopeful evening. The
eve of hope for change of regimes and end of communism in
Hungary.
