The drivers had only one entry into France. I told him that it
was not good because we had to take the bus to the hotel in
London where the other group will board, and they come back
to Dover and then to France.
            - Well, well, he answered. Immensely not understanding that I
did not understand the former explanation and decision.
            - I understand your situation.
In vain, well, Hungary is a distant country, with different
standards of behaviour - the thought crossed his face.
            - I can't drive a bus - I said worriedly.
            - Well, somebody from the group - he said and apparently
            considered the conversation closed. Obstructionists.
I guessed that someone had made a huge mistake during the
organization at home, but in Hungary at that time the attitude
was that everything always works out somehow and that there is
always someone everywhere who will sort it out somehow.
Without any malice things were usually organized up to 50%
with a sure hand, the remaining part was fulfilled with a
fractional chance. In my case, I knew right away that my eight-
week trip, my golden and easy life in London, had turned into a
            serious realization deficit.
            - No one in the group can drive a bus. Then the bus must remain
            here.
            - Well, well, that won't work, traffic is already being blocked -
            he said.
            - I would like to speak to one of the bosses - I said. I felt that
everything was derailed from here on.
But the customs officer's eyes lit up: this is basically part of
democracy: I have rights. After thirty years, for the first time I
was confronted with its elementary manifestation.
            - Call Border HQ in Folkestone - he said - good idea - and
pointed to the phone and dictated the number.
I told someone on the phone about the situation and I let them
understand that one group is coming after the other – it is going
to collapse here. The voice indicated that he was not very
