purchase of certain electronic equipment caused problems in the
technical and electronic development of socialist countries. In
Moscow, the old party secretaries succeeded one another in
power, until finally Gorbachev, not an old trotter left here from
the Second World War, but a middle-aged technocrat, came to

power. But it was obvious that his perestroika and glasnost
would not succeed, so he gradually came to an agreement with
the Western powers, renouncing the countries in their sphere of
influence.
In the 1980s, a trip to Yugoslavia was not considered a trip to
the West, but the opportunity to travel to the sea in the summer
only gradually opened up. Since we became lovers of the sea,
we went every summer. At first, it was organized by Camping
Caravanning with a tent, because that was the way to go, and it
did not count in the number of trips abroad. Later, we bought an
East German Bastei caravan, which we added with Western
conveniences, such as running water, a bunk bed, and it was
very comfortable for the four of us, especially when the front
tent was put up. When we exchanged it for an elegant caravan
called Adria made in West Germany, we later regretted that we
had sacrificed at the vanity fair. In 1980, we discovered the
westernmost end of Yugoslavia, Savudriját, and after years the
locals recognized us, greeted us and said that the teacher from
Budapest had come with his family. We went there until all of a
