convinced us to go to every lecture. There were Czechs,
Slovaks, Hungarians, and few Poles. To my surprise, the
Czechs were treated completely separately from the first
moment, and they were also taught computer skills in separate
classes. I tried in vain to inquire in that direction, but it was not
possible to get into that group. It was shrouded in mystery. The
example of the manifestation of Anglo-Saxon historical
commitment arose in me, the way the Czechs were treated, the
politics of division. Nevertheless, at the big lectures in the
lecture halls, mainly the Hungarians spoke, the Czechs and
Slovaks found it very difficult to formulate their thoughts, and
they did not speak English very well. At that time, students
were already expected to ask questions or engage in debate after
the lecture at the American university. There was a speaker who
almost provoked the audience, and after sixty minutes he simply
stopped what he had to say and waited. Well, he didn't go well
with us, because my roommate and I were very active and
interested in the topic. I think it was about migration of early
ages. By asking a few questions, I didn't get an answer, but the
speaker promised to look into it and would bring the answer. He
didn't really succeed, because the next time my roommate got
into a small argument with him. After that, the directors
introduced the new performer by pointing towards us and
indicating that he should get ready for us.
Nevertheless, we quickly realized that Atlantic City, the Las
Vegas in the east of America, was nearby, and with a one-time
investment you could travel back and forth for free, because
you could buy a free bus ticket and an extra starting money
voucher for the gambling halls before coming back. Atlantic
City is on the ocean, and with this series of programs, our
language practicing has been given a new impetus and new
vocabulary has been added. We started vacationing. However,
despite countless casino attempts, I did not come out of the
gambling halls victoriously. I did not create my million-dollar
future in the USA. After seeing that this was not going to
